On September 15th, five United States experts who participated in the Sino-US librarian professional communication activities visited the Lanzhou branch of National Science Library. They are: Miss Jiang Shuyong of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Library of Asia, Mr. Li Huawei, the former Asia director of  Asian department of the United States Library of Congress,  Mr. Zhang Hongyun of the New York Public Library, Mr. Yao Yuan of United States Library of Congress, and Mr. Yuan Haiwang of Western Kentucky University Library. Accompanied by Deputy Director Gao Feng, the United States experts first visited the exhibition room, the Chinese and foreign language periodicals and books reading room, graduate students information commons, information research department and information technology department, and then communicated with the staff of the library.
