Information Center of Global Changing Studies in LLAS communicated and reported work on 2008 Joint Academic Conference of Global Changing Studies

The 2008 Joint Academic Conference of Global Changing Studies was held on Jan. 10-11th 2009. Subject of the conference is: Global Changing and Natural Disaster: Challenge for both Technology and Society.
Information Center of Global Changing Studies in LLAS should provide service of information support and knowledge analysis for the national global changing research and science decision making. The librarian of Lanzhou Branch of National Science Library (LLAS), Dr. Zhang Zhiqiang, and vice director of Information Research Department of LLAS, Qu Jiansheng participated the conference, and reported the global changing research dynamic observation and information supporting service, climate policy study, evaluation of greenhouse gas emissions research we did, and the achievements we had. They also provided the “2008 Review of International Global Environment Changing Research Report”, which was well received by the participants of the conference.
