Research on Burst word recognition and Topic Detection

Abstract: As a basis of Topic Detection and Tracking and public opinion monitoring, It plays an important role to Identify and deal with the word of the burst detection. In this paper, we review the status of the current research in this field and make comparative analysis of the existing results, summarize the key issues which must be resolved, point out the study direction in the future.
