Professor Zhu Donghua gives an academic report in Lanzhou Lanzhou Branch of the National Science Library

October 8th,2012 in Lanzhou Branch of the National Science Library, Lanzhou, Professor Donghua Zhu, Executive Vice-President of industrialization and informatization fusion Development Research Institute in Beijing Institute of Technology, vice President of school of management and economy and tutor of Software engineering professional doctor,  gives an academic report on Science and technology literature and patent mining method. Over 60 people from Gansu science and technology literature community including The Lanzhou Branch of the National Science Library, Lanzhou University library, Lanzhou university of Technology library and Gansu Provincial Library attend the academic report.

Professor Zhu gives a brief and systematic introduction about the research progress and developing trends of scientific literature and patent data mining in his report. It’s a report about the forefront of the development of knowledge management, knowledge calculation and data analysis. This report has important guiding value for people in the related fields. Professor Zhu makes a demo about the computer program running and analysis of the related data mining by combined with a large number of practical application cases. Finally, he introduces the main research fields and new development of the technology innovation management of Joint Laboratory.

This academic report is the main component of academic research ability promotion plan of Lanzhou branch of the National Science Library.

After the report, accompanied by chief Librarian Zhiqiang Zhang, Professor Zhu visited showroom, Integrated reading room and other facilities of The Lanzhou Branch of the National Science Library.
