On 15th Aprial, the 15th project “Researches on Relative Policies catering for the Carbon Budget in Climate Change” of the “Strategic Priority Research Program – Climate Change: Carbon Budget and Related Issues” undertaken by the Lanzhou Branch of the National Science Library of Chinese Academy of Sciences was initiated in the general office of Chinese Academy of Sciences. The chief scientist and academician of this priority research program Daren Lv and Tieqing Huang, Jinliang Zhai and Yuantao Wu from the program office participated in the kick off meeting. The project leader, People in charge of the detail subjects and key researchers also took part in the meeting.
The 15th project is composed of 9 subjects. The Lanzhou branch undertook the first subject “national emission monitor and policy database” and the research fellow Jiansheng Qu is the responsible person of this subject. During the kick off meeting, the project responsible person, Professor Yiming Wei, and the responsible people of various subjects respectively reported the projecting background, research target, research content, methodology, technical route, prospected achievements and schedule arrangement. After hearing the reports, the academician Daren Lv and the responsible people from the project office transmit the requirements from the general office to the various research missions and raised detail guidance opinion and demanding on project management, research design, data sharing etc.
After the meeting, the project members made a discussion according to the address of the experts and the leaders. They reached a further consensus on communication mechanism, scheme perfection, data sharing, achievement reporting and recent work.
