The purpose of "Foreign Scientists Plan" is to improve academic communication, international collaboration and personal training of Lanzhou Branch of NSL by accepting talented foreign young scientists to do some collaborative research in our library. The project of this year is managed by Dr. Abigail R. Clarke-Sather. Dr. Clarke-Sather's study interest is in sustainable management, environmental life cycle, etc. She is also experienced at energy efficiency evaluation and energy-saving technology selection. She will study the project of "effective utilization of energy in underdeveloped area and environmental life cycle evaluation" in Lanzhou Branch of National Science Library from 2009/11 to 2010/11.
