Chinese National Committee for the International Human Dimensions Programme on Global Environmental Change (CNC- IHDP) is an academic organization aiming at promoting and organizing Chinese scientists' participation in IHDP activities, which is directly led by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST). The Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of the People's Republic of China guides the operation of the CNC-IHDP. The CNC-IHDP Secretariat is established at the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research (IGSNRR), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), located in Beijing, China.

Dr. Zhang Zhiqiang, Director of Lanzhou Branch Library, serves as a committee member of CNC-IHDP.
